Health, wellness, food and nutrition continue to be lifelong learning experiences for me. I became vegetarian on my own as a young child.
In the past twenty-five years, I've followed a vegan diet and worked in the vegan and health food industries. I have always been interested in plant-based nutrition and have studied science at a university level.
I've practiced various styles of yoga for more than a fifteen years. Now, at the age of 40, I am a Certified Yoga Teacher and Certified Aerial Yoga Teacher, trained in a variety of styles and able to train other teachers.
I'm a Certified Raw Food Chef through Alissa Cohen's Living on Live Food Chef Certification. I attended Raw Foundation Culinary Institute in Vancouver, Canada. However, I am mostly self-taught when it comes to raw & living plant-based cuisine. Having been vegan for so long, I have much experience preparing food and know how to eat for health!
It has always been my purpose to influence others to pursue a healthier diet and lifestyle through plant-based nutrition and exercise. I Iearned many years ago that being a positive example is the way to achieve this goal.
